- One of twenty-five to receive a full scholarship to take a collegiate bioethics course at Northwestern University
- Covered topics such as physician-assisted suicide, human and animal experimentation, and euthanasia
Dancer Summer 2015-16
- Performed choreography by instructors who have worked with Beyonce, Britney Spears, and Fall Out Boy
- Venues for performances included the Daley Center Plaza, Chicago Multicultural Center, and Navy Pier

Volunteer Nurse’s Assistant August 2014 – July 2015
- Manage patients in the recovery unit by answering the call light, medicine requests, and consolation for mental support of the patient
- Restocks supplies, make beds, refill ice packs, feed patients, and tends to patient’s needs upon request
- Handles assistive administrative work such as filing and acts as front desk receptionist as needed
Dancer Summer 2014
- Trained with Lauren Parets (Top 20 finalist for So You Think You Dance?Season One)
- Refined skills in technique for a variety of dance genres: theatre, jazz, contemporary, ballet, and hip-hop
- Performed showcases for the community. friends, and family
Volunteer Teacher Summer 2012/2013
- Served the Vietnamese community by taking responsibility in supervising and teaching elementary school students
- Led lessons in mathematics, reading comprehension, and life skills with co-teacher
- Organized and led students on bimonthly field trips to Chicago landmarks
EXTRACURRICULARS & ORGANIZATIONS:
Co-President and Co- Founder of Science Competition Club (2014-16)
- Lead and organize board meetings and general meetings for all the members
- Set up the team, strengthen skills to compete, and monitor competitions in order to run smoothly
- Club participates in Science Olympiad, Physics Olympiad, Chemistry Olympiad, WYSE (Worldwide Youth Science Engineering)
- Filipino cultural organization representing family and unity that performs at community events
- Competed at the two largest Midwest Urban dance competitions- World of Dance Chicago and Prelude Midwest
- Created and hosted the first Intercollegiate Urban Dance Competition
- Math honor society
- Tutor peers for at least an hour every month
- Engage in math based activities at meetings and increase school’s community involvement with math

- A channel for political action, social awareness, and cultural programming for the campus community at large
- Intervarsity Christian Fellowship
- To see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers developed
- Aims to advance communities of Christian students at colleges and universities through group discussion and reflection
- Purpose is to transform students, campuses and develop leaders who will make a change in the world
